What you’ll be doing
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller a Group Tax Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing the group’s global tax compliance, planning, and strategy. This role involves working closely with senior management to ensure tax risk management, optimization of the tax structure, and ensuring compliance with all tax laws and regulations across jurisdictions.
The Group Tax Manager will lead tax reporting processes, coordinate with external advisors, and stay informed on changing tax laws to maintain an efficient tax position for the organization.
List of key responsibilities include:
- Oversee and ensure timely and accurate submission of tax filings (corporate tax, VAT, indirect taxes, etc.) for the group entities across jurisdictions.
- Coordinate with external tax advisors and internal teams to ensure proper documentation and adherence to tax laws and regulations.
- Review and manage group tax provision and disclosures for financial reporting, including support for quarterly and annual reporting processes under IFRS.
- Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of the group’s transfer pricing policies and documentation.
- Ensure that intercompany transactions are in line with local and international tax laws and guidelines.
- Monitor and manage the tax risk exposure of the group, working closely with the finance, legal, and audit teams.
- Liaise with tax authorities as necessary, manage tax audits, and resolve tax disputes.
- Assessment of Deferred tax positions across the wider Group considering Jurisdictional tax incentives.
- Consider the most tax efficient management of cash pooling within the Group.
Who we’re looking for

- A Chartered Accountant with 3-5 years’ experience in a tax role, with a strong understanding of international tax, corporate taxation, and transfer pricing.
- Proven experience in managing tax compliance, reporting, and advisory within a large or multinational organization.
- Strong knowledge of tax legislation in key jurisdictions (e.g., UK, US, EU) and the ability to stay abreast of global tax trends.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain complex tax issues to non-tax professionals.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines, especially during the financial close and audit periods.
- Strong knowledge of UK Tax regulations within the Technology sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English
